Measure the biomechanics linked with injuries and identify the causes of a player’s injury such as faulty running mechanics, musculoskeletal impairment, a training error or extrinsic factors. Test players in the field (providing context to movement) opposed to testing them in the lab.
Compare data between Early Maturing Players and Late Maturing Players to see how it effects training sessions when coaches put early maturing players with the late maturing players and when coaches mix the two groups together. Construct individual technical plans with players at an early age.
Have the power to measure a strength or power measure in the release velocity of a player. The ability to now profile each player in training sessions where MDT teams look at each player’s left vs right foot maximum release velocity. Interesting insights can be investigated in the technical loading score and trying to identify soft tissue injuries through kicking mechanics.
