Playermaker is opening offices in Denver, Colorado and looking to add a Customer Success Manager to the North American team. The role will focus primarily on our B2B/Team (ie not the B2C/individual).  This is a unique opportunity to be part of a small team on the cusp of building a big business here.  You will report to the President of North America, work closely with global Support and Finance staff/resources, and with local Marketing and Sales staff.

Playermaker is opening offices in Denver, Colorado and  looking to add Sales Managers to the North American team. 
 
The Sales Manager roles will be part of our B2B/Team Sales division (ie not the B2C /individual).  This is a unique opportunity to be part of a small team on the cusp of building a big business here.  You will report directly to the President of North America, while working closely with local Marketing, Sales, and Support/Customer Success staff.
 

Responsibilities: 
  • Leverage your knowledge, skills, and experience in sales, soccer, player development, and sports science to close-win opportunities and hit quarterly sales targets
  • Use your network in North American soccer to generate opportunities – specifically in the college and elite youth segments
  • Work closely with marketing to create and execute outbound and nurture campaigns
  • Manage and progress opportunities through the pipeline by educating potential customers on the benefits of Playermaker
  • Collaborate with other Sales Managers to continuously improve our sales process
  • Manage internal platforms (like salesforce) and communications to support the wider organization and drive continuous improvement of our processes
  • Liaise with Support and Customer Success to ensure proper handover of accounts and customer health
  • Travel to industry events and clients, if/when necessary
  • Contribute to the evolving NA strategy
 
Requirements:
  • 3+ years sales experience in the sports-tech and/or sports industry
  • 4+ years experience as a soccer player, coach, or sports scientist at the college or professional level
  • A large/strong enough NA soccer network to generate 50+ qualified opportunities  in the first 6 months
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate, educate, and ultimately win opportunities with potential customers, and hit sales targets
  • Positive, intelligent, analytical, and solutions-oriented persona who can contribute to, and grow with, the business
  • Excellent references who can confirm that you are a team player who will make an impact at Playermaker
